Gambling is an activity that some individuals participate in year-round. During the winter months, some may find visiting a casino or playing games online serves as an escape from the cold weather. Unfortunately for some, the winter weather and reduced daylight also brings seasonal affective disorder and for those experiencing gambling related issues, or in recovery from a gambling problem, this can serve as a very challenging time. This webinar will explore the participation in gambling that takes place during the winter, and what issues can be identified in terms of problematic behaviors.
