Treating the Adolescent for Gambling

Within an actively gambling culture and society adolescents have increased exposure to gambling. The younger we begin actively gambling the more likely it is we will develop gambling concerns. Adolescents are at high risk for impulsive actions and compulsive behaviors due to their phase of human development. This advanced training will focus on understanding what it is like to be an adolescent growing up in an actively gambling society and skills for the clinician/professional to provide prevention and treatment to adolescents at risk of or with gambling problems.
