Outcomes
At the conclusion of the program, participants should be able to:
- Understand the state of college student gambling, and its relationship with comorbidities of SUD
- Decipher whether legality of sports wagering and igaming had an impact on college student gambling behavior and risk
- Analyze how campuses may be able to best serve students on gambling-related issues
- Identify the role of storytelling in recovery
- Share information about accessing podcasts and potential impact
- Utilize podcasts as a recovery tool
- Recognize unique experiences of women with gambling harm
- Identify stigma and barriers to seeking help
- Discuss connections between gambling and gaming and issues related to both
- Identify potential risks associated with youth gambling
- Have open dialogue regarding youth gaming and gambling

Social Work
This program is offered for 6.0 hours of social work continuing education through co-sponsorship of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work, a Council on Social Work Education-accredited school and, therefore, a PA pre-approved provider of social continuing education.
